I truly don't understand how this doesn't make economical sense to legislature? Hundreds of thousands of lives are at stake. Productions happily move to ATL, LA, or any other nearby state that has tax incentives and we all lose our income and can do nothing but watch as they pack up and drive there? Common sense. Passing this is common sense...
Please help us maintain our jobs and lives- please.

There is no downside to this bill: the state brings in money, local businesses make more money, millions of jobs for Floridians!

I have to travel to Atlanta, South Florida, California to get work.Orlando used to be a hotbed of production work. Let's change that!

As a producer with Kinematic Entertainment in Pensacola, we are looking at making low budget feature films. However, as it stands now, it's cheaper for us to take these projects to New Orleans than it is to film them in our own city. We would like our own state to support our industry and make it possible for work to not only come to Florida, but to originate here as well.

My daughters dream is to be an actress. She has been acting for about 3 or 4 years now and she loves it. We need more movies to be made here in order to keep jobs here in florida instead of having to travel for jobs elsewhere.
