My daughters dream is to be an actress. She has been acting for about 3 or 4 years now and she loves it. We need more movies to be made here in order to keep jobs here in florida instead of having to travel for jobs elsewhere.

Many communities in Florida and personalities helped me and keep helping me and my partners to bring at least one feature film in Florida. A majority of people in Florida is very supportive and aware that films and entertainment business can bring recognition, work and profitability to the beautiful Sunshine State. I wholeheartedly support such an initiative. Philipp Durand, actor, writer, producer.

I don't want to have to live far away from my family in Florida just because I can't earn a decent living and provide for my future in this state. To work as on set acting and dialogue coach I have no choice but to do the aforementioned. The incentives will help the entire state of Florida--this bill is an urgent matter.

I've lived and loved FL all my life, since getting into the production world I've wanted FL to succeed as a valuable market as have many of my fellow production family. Please help keep people like myself wanting to stay in the place we love calling home. I have already been spreading myself elsewhere and have been looking into both the Atl and LA markets, but would like to be able to stay home...

Florida is a great State and the entertainment business is a significant way of showing the rest of the world what a special place it is.
Film, TV, and Commercial production - A great way to show Florida in a favorable light, while increasing the valuable Florida Tourism business.
The entertainment business = Florida Jobs and additional Tourism.

As a lifelong resident of Florida, I have at times enjoy the benefits of what the movie incentives brings to the state. As a teamster, I now have to travel to Georgia for gainful employment in the movie industry. It is very disheartening to see the state of Georgia reap the benefits of their incentive plans when we have so much more to offer in the state of Florida.
