I urge all to pass legislation to support a broad film and television incentive.
There are thousands of jobs on the line and so manyof us have to go to Georgia and Louisiana to support our families and earn a living while we in Florida could have just as many future jobs here. Thank you

Supporting the Florida Film incentive is a positive step in enhancing the overall economy of the State. The incentive will aid in the employment of many in the entertainment and service industries. Food Service and retail sectors will also benefit due to the production companies always purchase retail goods to utilize in their productions and while production is occuring there is the necessity to provide food for those involved in the productions. I personally observed the positive financial impact that Burn Notice and other productions have had on the South Florida area. The granting of these funds will have a spiraling impact on the overall economy.

Losing the incentive has caused to many good professionals to move out of state, but for those of us who can't move due to family obligations…we're left to take significant pay cuts to get work as well as find ourselves without work for long durations.
