Tax incentives are critical incentives for major production to be attracted to Florida. The economic impact is huge & far reaching beyond just the production community.

Florida really needs this to get back on track with film/tv/media production. We have been losing so much in money, revenue, work, and spending to LA and GA. Do what's right for Florida.

Every schedule film production creates jobs outside of just the film industry. Film tax credits are a standard in any state that wants to attract well paying jobs. These credits are needed to compete with southern states such as Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana.

my families livelihood depends on this. My mother and her sister were the first female TV producers in Florida. Please don't force us out of our home state as so many of my lifelong colleagues have had to.

Film Incentives are now a mandatory infrastructure for states to attract film and television. Both Georgia and Louisiana getting projects that were planned for Florida because of this. Even Puerto Rico has fashioned a film incentive based on the Louisiana model and currently have 6 films working there. The industry is reluctant to work in locations that do not offer these working tax credits. They will not come to Florida simply for the locations anymore. They will find a similar location or rewrite the scripts for a film friendly state to work in.

Juts Imagine if Disney left, how it would affect all the timeshare properties, the companies who sell them, the other theme parks, hotel industry, the vendors on the streets etc., Florida could collapse. Our NBA Basketball team keeps the downtown area restaurant and stores going, if the team leaves, those restaurant go out of business. Now the Film and TV industries needs craft services companies, rental companies, car rental companies, Hotels for talent, taxis that pick up talent, security, plus hire the local residents.
