I am a full-time actor and a VERY consistent voter -- local, state and national elections. Please be our hero, and help the Florida Economy.

Dear Governor Scott, Florida State Senate President Gardiner, and Speaker Crisafulli: Since I was 18, I have had two careers - one in psychology, with my Ph.D., and celebrating 36 years in private practice; - and one in entertainment. I was admitted to WGA when I sold a TV series to Aaron Spelling when I was 22. I have also been admitted to SAG-AFTRA and ASCAP. I have appeared on Oprah, 60 Minutes, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and O'Reilly (twice). I have hosted two TV shows and three radio shows all in Florida. I was selected from 200 applicants in a national search to host "Ask the Family Therapist" on America's Health Network, which was associated with the Mayo Clinic. The show aired, with six other doctor shows, from Universal Studios Orlando. I have produced seven short films, a play, and I wrote, directed, cast and produced my own award winning film, "The Viewing," which is on Amazon with my two books. I am listed on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2143266/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 Florida could be Hollywood East with your help in passing tax incentives for the film, TV and digital media industries. There is usually no pollution - film and TV crews come and spend millions of dollars and then leave - they can hire local crew and contract with local businesses - and the weather during the winters is ideal. Other states - such as Mississippi, North Carolina, and Louisiana - have seen millions of dollars spent in their states because of their excellent tax incentives for media production. Florida can be on a par with them so I hope you will pass tax incentive legislation NOW. Many thanks! My best, Linnda Durre' -- Linnda Durre', Ph.D. PO Box 1093 Winter Park, FL 32790 818-271-0204

Now is the opportunity to do what you all say your going to do. The film industry creates a tremendous amount of jobs for the community. This is what all of you in office say you are trying to do, so let's do it!

It’s extremely important that Florida's tax credit program for the film, TV and digital media industry be included on the agenda for the Special Session.

Help keep actors working and generate income for Florida. Atlanta is kicking our butt and making money from the film industry.

Save jobs. Save the Film and Entertainment Industry in Florida. Production is looking for incentives like those in Louisiana, Georgia and Puerto Rico. They will film in these places and not in Florida. We desperately need to level the playing field. Thank you, Marc Macaulay
