There should be no tolerance for racism, especially in this day and age. I'm saddened to see that a petition needs to be circulated for justice to be served but hope this will influence mass change.

This is blatant ignorance and should not be tolerated. If there really is a Zero tolerance policy it shouldn't take so long for her to be forced to resign. Actions need to speak here!!!

This is preposterous and this so called "Trustee" must be held responsible. Systemic and and Institutionalized racism in Canada must be addressed--there is no place for this ongoing assault in our schools, places or work and communities!

Cannot believe they are allowing her to continue in this role. Zero tolerance for such blatant racism. Keeping her on is sending the wrong message YRDSB. Should not be any petition for something that is common sense. Resign.

I am disgusted by these comments. There is a zero tolerance for racism and that extends to trustees. If a student can be expelled, so should a trustee. Period. In this day and age, this type of behaviour is shameful.
