Black children and parents have the right to have their voices heard without fear of being discriminated against. Nancy Elgie has behaved completely out of line and disrespectful by using a racial slur aimed at attacking Black people.

Why do we even need a petition to get people to take action? This is unacceptable behaviour, especially from someone who work with the school board. Come on guys, it's 2017, step it up. She should be terminated immediately.

I support the call for this woman's resignation. Her behaviour was unacceptable and has no place in our school boards. She has broken the public's trust & betrayed the students and parents of York region.
