I honestly believe that by banning edgeplay you are showing the exact reason why abuse sufferers don't come forward. This ban is so wrong in so many respects. and I hope this is righted soon.
This really isn't on. So they blew the whistle on the guys running YOUR afterparty as abusers, and this is the thanks they get? Shows which side you're on, BBB, clearly time to boycott the whole event...
All trading places/events should remain neutral to personal issues going on in the lifestyle, especially on Fetlife & banning traders for speaking up & trying to protect others in the future is being judgmental.
This lifestyle isn't one that should allow a culture of silence to breed or be supported. Banning Edgeplay is doing the exact opposite, and i will no longer support the BBB till the decision is reversed. I think we all know who was uncomfortable, and relieved, but maybe they had reason to be, from their own actions. Poor show, BBB.
Unfair to ban Edgeplay just because of a situation that is nothing to do with the BBB. Ban people who actually violate consent, not ones who raise awareness!
This action is just perpetuating the culture of silence around abuse in the scene. shame.
Bring Edge Play back to the BBB. BBB should be neutral in conflicts.

Shooting the messenger is not going to make the real problem go away. The people behind Edgeplay did the community a service in speaking out, and banning them for that has some very concerning implications about the BBB's attitude to abuse and misconduct in the scene.
