There are members in the classic hit-making consummate musical ensemble known as the elements, Earth, Wind & Fire.

Original 9–they all played their part—there would be no EWF, as we have come to know them, without Al, Johnny, Larry, Fred and Andrew and Myrick

I agree that the Original founder and members of Earth Wind and Fire dhohjd be acknowledged and remembered as Classic 9...

Absolutely deserving!

Although the original line up of Earth, Wind and Fire founded by Maurice White didn't include Larry Dunn, Johnny Graham, Al McKay, Fred White and Andrew Woolfolk, it was when they along with Verdine White and Phillip Bailey entered the group beginning with the group's 3rd recording, "Last Days and Times" is when E, W & F became the force they remain to this day. Besides Maurice White. Larry, Al, Fred and Andrew must be included in the ensemble photo, without them, it's like showing highlights of the Louvre without including Mona Lisa!

To not include the founding members who created the sound and the songs that made us love them, is disrespectful.

This must be corrected!

Please honor Earth Wind and Fire properly, now just want is left of them. Thanks

It's imperative that a correction is made to right the wrong committed by not having Maurice White in the gallery photo. This must be an oversight and should immediately be addressed.

How in the Lords name are you honoring Earth Wind and Fire, without the Creator and the Force behind the Group.

Without a doubt cannot let this happen this way he was a man who changed the way people viewed music. He brought Generations together whether they were musically inclined or not the amazing sights Sounds & stories that he helped to create we're absolutely magical to even think along the lines of not including him in this portrait is unfathomable it would be like having a horn section without trumpets a drummer without sticks and even scarier it would be like having a portrait of Earth Wind & Fire without Maurice White one of if not my biggest inspiration to having become a professional musician myself I cannot begin to explain how much this man has influenced my life

There is no vision without the visionary. Maurice White (R.I.P.) was an American Musical Visionary. His musical/philosophical/theatrical vision IS Earth, Wind & Fire. He CHANGED LIVES!! To not have him and the indispensable Original EWF 9 is unacceptable and an American Musical TRAGEDY! How can you be so unappreciative of their Collective Artistic Majesty?

EWF (Maurice White) deserves for you Smithsonian to "do the right thing" so we the people can continue to enjoy the best band in the entire globe !

EWF is originally founded by the late Maurice White. He brought the so-called “original 9” together, and in that formation they celebrated their biggest successes.
