Please ban any open fires NOW. We cannot afford to wait another minute. If there were to be a fire here in the Coloma Lotus Valley there would absolutely be fatalities. As SLT's evacuation yesterday proved getting vehicles, residents, an guests out of an enclosed area is brutally difficult. Please ban open fires immediately.

I completely agree! Please ban open files in El Dorado County (until the rains start).

I’m a frequent user of recreational areas in El Dorado county. And I can say that I fully support a fire ban. Fires don’t make much sense when AQ is so bad and fire danger is high

Please ban open fires. With all of the dryness around, it's just too risky and could further strain the fire fighting resources. I believe most people would understand the ban.

Take action to forbid fires, please. At this moment, the public will understand; we're all aware of the fires and losses nearby.

As a person who lives in a fire prone area and enjoys visiting natural places we all need to be sensible. This is a very small sacrifice to improve safety.

I would also recommend No use of spark producing tools, Which include shooting firearms.

Lets not start an other wild fire, too much is burning already. One spark and there is a fire. Don't allow open fires even though we all want them. I would rather be inconvenienced then have to evacuate and lose my home and those around me.

The yearly fire season is now a norm. With conditions exacerbated by the drought, it is entirely irresponsible to subject the entire American River watershed as well as residents and property within the county to the risk of uncontrolled fires. History will not be kind to those who don't have the backbone to do the right thing and ban open fires during the most critical months of the year.
