E2 visa holders are supporting the local community not only by employing local people but also by contracting local businesses through 1099. Several including us would invest more aggressively if the insecurity of visa renewal would not be on the horizon every few years.

I am an E2 visa holder running a pool business in Bradenton Florida and employ US citizens - have done for 8 years - deserve a green card !

It is a visa which gives the holder no rights of permanency. It needs to be changed

I'm now a citizen but my family and my fiancé are both E2 visa holders so I hope this goes somewhere.
These people are legal and pay their taxes etc. They jump through hoops to get their visas anyway. Why penalise them with red tape that is suffocating to say the least. Let them build a life for themselves and their families a little more easily.

These people have contributed to the US economy for years and provided jobs to US citizens. They should be given the opportunity to apply for a green card.

This is an unfair policy and was a driving reason behind my deciding against investing in and living in the USA permanently, hiw can a government allow you to invest blood sweat tears, money and family yet retain the right to deny you any rights - land of the free my ass!

My grandsons have lived in the USA for 11 years as young men they have not been able to get part time jobs to help support themselves and gain experience. Now they may face having to come back to the UK to live. Leaving behind family and friends a a very different way if life. How can this be fair

I believe this will bring a lot of relief for families who have lived in the USA without a green card, their children who have been educated and now need jobs .
