It truly is ridiculous that my hard working friends from out of the country who contribute to the economy here and have done so for years, cannot count on this country's support. Citizenship should not be this difficult for those who have proven their desire to be here.
Shame on us.

I was brought here legally at 7 years old as a dependent of an E2 visa holder. My parents employ more than 20 US Citizens, pay taxes, and yet we have no permanent way to stay in this country. I will age out of my visa in just under a year, and face the fact that I will have to return to a country I haven't lived in in almost 14 years. I have no future there, and wish I had a pathway to US permanent residency.

We have been living in the United States for more 10 years and we love this country. We love sharing our skills and experience with Americans . This country offers many opportunities for anybody willing to work hard. We would love to be able to apply for a green card and also for the well-being of our children

My longtime Italian friends, business owners who have paid their taxes for more years then I could count are affected by this. They have earned their right to be citizens of these United States.

The people who come to the USA on these Visa's create jobs for Americans, pay taxes, buy homes, send their kids to school, pay for their own health care. They do not ask for hand outs and do not drain our system. They are only asking for something that they should have had the right to do in the first place. Please allow them to be able to apply for a Green Card.

Invested over $500,000 in hotel business. Moved substantial investment money from Canada. Hire all American Employees over the last 15 years, Help improve local economy by buying hotel supplies, Lumber for renovation. Helped Katrina storm victims with accommodation at the hotel free of charge for at least a week.
We all in our family request for approval of Green Cards for all E2 visa holders. Above all we E2 visa holder came legally in to the USA.
