My family were pioneers in the 1820's they fought I and died in WW1&2. As a history teacher I share my family's story of struggle and sacrifice to our next generation of leaders. We need to model the Anzac values and traditions- not put a price on the ultimate sacrifice.

My partner is currently serving in ADF. this is a disgrace Newcastle...if it wasn't for our military we would not have the Freedom we enjoy today...hang your heads in shame !

As a defence member and an Australian citizen Im disgusted at the thought... It if wasnt for the ANZAC's we wouldnt even be alive.. It should be a privilage to have us march down your streets for our fallen bretheren.. Shame on you new castle
