We live across the street, and my children have been attending this very family-oriented, wonderful school for 14 years. We are very fortunate to be able walk. I am also very involved with classroom & PTA actvities, going back and forth several times a week as do many parents in surounding area. This also minimizes additional traffic. The teachers and staff are very loving, caring individuals. I have witnessed many students thrive through the years. Please SAVE our precious school! GO DRAGONS!

My children and grandchildren attended Del Obispo Elementary. It would be a shame to turn this great school into a charter which would force children living in SJC to commute to another elementary school.

Moved into our present house to be next to the school for our kids. Del Obispo has incredible caring teachers who not only teach our children but provide a sense of community within our neighborhood. Save Del Obispo for the children in our community who look forward to attending our local school!

Please keep this school open as I have several grand children that have gone to this school for several years. I also gave 2 grand children that went there for 5 years each. PLEASE keep this school open not only for my grand children. But for my memories of events I have attended there over the last years!!

Del Obispo Elementary has educated and supported legacies of families for over 40 years. It is a recognized fixture in this community and closing it would be an incredible loss to the children, other residents, and city of San Juan Capistrano. LET IT GROW!!!

My sister and I attended Del Obispo the day they opened in 1974 and it would be a shame to loose it!! It is a great school and my son attended for 5 years. Awesome memories!
