Please don't displace our kids! Such a disruption to their education and our routine of school, to boys and girls club to soccer practice at the sports park.

Keep the Del O Dragons! I had the pleasure of teaching at Del Obispo and know first hand how committed staff and families are when it comes to educating students attending there. A small campus/enrollment is a PLUS in my opinion, not a reason to close the campus!

As a retired CUSD teacher and proud former faculty member of Del Obispo, I am disheartened to know that closure of this school is being considered. Del Obispo Elementary is at the heartbeat of the community in which it resides. This institution has a long, rich history of educational excellence and it's halls and classrooms echo with countless memories for local residents. It was a privilege to serve Del Obispo students and their families and I sincerely hope that the current staff of devoted teachers and classified employees can continue to do so for any more years. Make your voices heard!

I have some wonderful memories at this school I attended K-6 and then walked across the way to Marco for 7-8 and then Dana hills for high school. I grew up going to school with just about everyone I graduated with. My mom was on the PTA while I was there. My brother also attended the same. I plan on having my son attend when he turns 5 and follow the same footsteps I did. Please don't close the school it is a piece of history for San juan

Closing Del Obispo is not the right choice. We are not just a school but a family. Students play sports together, do girl scouts together, and live in the neighborhood together. Moving children just so a charter school can take over is not fair to the community. Parents buy or rent close to the school so they can walk their children to school. It will cause more traffic, displacement of students past city boundaries, and be detrimental to our children. Please save Del Obispo!!
