I went to this school as a kid and want my kids to enjoy it aswell. Please if you do turn this into an academy you will bring so much more traffic into dana point it's honestly worth avoiding.

I went to del obispo back in 2004 and I am going to Dana hills now. I have a younger brother who is 7 and has been going to del obispo for 3 years now. That school is absolutely amazing and I would like for my brother to stay there and enjoy del obispo like I did

I've known Del Obispo since I was born. My brother (now currently 25) went there, my sister (currently 15) went there, and I (12) have went there since kindergarten. I love visiting my old teachers and helping them out, and it would be a tradgedy if it were to be removed. Please consider placing the charter school elsewhere. :)

I grew up in the neighborhood and started school at Del Obispo in 1974 as a Kindergartener. I walked to and from school to Del Obispo and then Marco Forster for 9 years. It was important to have a neighborhood school then and it still is today. My family still lives in the neighborhood and my sister's kids have benefited from both schools as well.
