I'm a SSG/E6 in the Army National Guard. Playing volleyball at Fort DeRussey is, very literally, my favorite thing in this entire world. Please find a way to keep the courts open.

There is an easy solution to this problem! Please just find another place to store the equipment, but keeping the courts open should be a priority.

These volleyball courts have been an iconic fixture on Waikiki for a lifetime. We first stepped onto these courts over 30 years ago & have met lifelong friends & ohana here. Our children have grown up on these courts & have met forever friends here. We continually return every year, sometimes several times a year to familiar friendly grounds where the spirit of Aloha is so exemplified. Please reconsider this decision of closure

Please keep these open. Beach volleyball drives a lot of players to do better, have fun, and these courts help to pass that on. Keep them open!!
