A new school for Dartford, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Swanley and Tonbridge!

Great idea. I know my 6yr old son would greatly benefit from this, as I owuld have done

I fully support the idea of a new school teaching in a dyslexia friendly way. It would benefit so many children with and without dyslexia.

Having passed through the education system as a child with dyslexia I have lived though the limitations of the current support and whole heartedly wish that a school like this had been around for me.

I fully endorse a school that is flexible and inclusive in its approach to teaching. The one size fits all doesn't work for all children.

Having personal experience for both myself and my children I cannot understand why a school like this has not been set up before. It is the way forward for an education system for all instead of one for those that fit.

I support the idea to have an independent school that would teach in different way to help children particularly with dislexia.

The Da Vinci School can become a model school for ecclectic teaching methods that can reach our bright creative children who don't fit in the current mainstream classrooms well enough to achieve their potential.

The need for a new secondary school is vital looking at the statistics. I fully support this.

My son falls out of mainstream so I'm forced to home educate. There is a dyslexia school close by but the fees would cost me £22,000 pa. local schools are unable to provide him with the education he needs. We need more schools to fill the gaps. I know so many families affected by children with SEN that are being let down.

I like the different approach and believe this school will be a great success in supporting and developing a range of children with different needs.

There is a huge need for this kind of school in the Sevenoaks area. Lots of children have different styles of learning that currently aren't catered for. Good luck with this worthwhile venture.

This is a much needed school to meet the needs of the intelligent children with dyslexia who just need the information given to them in a language they understand and can then reach their individual potential.

As a mother of a dyslexic child, I see how standardised mainstream teaching can have such a negative impact on a child's self esteem. Good early education should enable a child to fostering a love of learning; a flexible approach is therefore vital if we are to make learning accessable to all.
