I think this style of teaching will be invaluable. I have a son who is dyslexic and I have often felt he is more suited to a younger class to ensure the foundations of his learning are good, and to maintain his self-esteem in the classroom. As it is, he sees the gaps ever widening, and takes tests with soul destroying results. Flexible teaching would promote challenging him in a safe environment, where his accomplishments would be celebrated and he would feel inspired. This is what every child deserves, and the best way to ensure they reach their potential. The idea of being a resource to other schools in the area would also be incredibly valuable, and would promote good research-based support for children in other schools. I know some of the individuals involved in this project, and they are incredibly positive, "can- do" people. Truly inspirational!

Greatly needed.

It's time the education system was as creative and flexible as the children it aims to serve.

I feel there is a real need for a specialist school like this in our area and fully support it.

If only this school was open when we lived in Kemsing and what opportunities it will open up for local children

Had to send my, now 22 year old ADHD, dyspraxic diagnosed son to Somerset to find suitable secondary school which sadly finished at 16 years old.

There is a missing link in dyslexic teaching in the local area, this school is much needed
