My children will go to a school like this. The world has evolved and so should the archaic education system.

What a fantastic opportunity for the young one's in Sevenoaks. I totally back this as teach these types of children in an environment where I try to make the best of resources given but there needs to be more to support these children's need's and I would certainly like to be a part of this xx Come on please this need to happen xx

This would be such a great addition to an area that needs more schools and the different approach to curriculum looks like it would support a wider range of pupils. And of course I'm very pro the fact that this system would encourage the arts!

Hi, I think this school will make a difference in many ways. Life is not all about selection, children come with a multitude of talents. The proposed location/area is short of local schools, walking to school is a great thing. In terms of addressing needs in the field of Dyslexia, it is better to assume children may have a problem and have those facilities in place right from the start, rather than the way a lot of schools operate, which is essentially waiting until difficulties surface and then having to spend longer providing help in those areas.

This school will provide for children who too often get stuck outside the classroom with the TA. This Teacher Assistant is most often not a qualified teacher. The child does't get the teaching help they need and also suffers poor self esteem as they are constantly made a spectacle of being separated from their class.

I believe many children will benefit from a specialized school to help with dyslexia.

Having fought with mainstream schools and then seen the difference that specialist teaching can make to your child - this is so necessary.

Sadly this exciting initiative was not around for members of my family, all of whom are dyslexic, when they were at school. I hope others will benefit from the Da Vinci School and strongly support this project.
