As a senior, it’s sad to have worked 4 years and most likely not get the chance to have one last competition at my school. Practice isn’t the same as a meet. Ogradys is a meet well known here in CT, and sadly it won’t happen where it all started. We have been promised a track for a while now and still have gotten nothing. Please sign!

It is horrendous to run on our track. It is an embarrassment to hear others school degrade our school, solely based on the condition of our track. “Patching up” the track will no longer due. Due to these conditions, O’Grady’s will no longer be held at Danbury High which disappoints many, seeing as the steeplechase (a highlight of the meet) will no longer be an event.

I really hope and pray that you approve this allocation of funds for future runners. We have a great legacy here In Danbury, and a track to have it continue.

As the athletic trainer at DHS, I can attest to the safety issues. The track needs to get replaced.

This track has one side thats soft then another thats pure concrete.
