The track is getting rugged

We have been dealing with an awful track for years. Patching it up with cement will not hold up any longer. Due to the terrible conditions, we are unable to host the O’Grady Relays this year which means there will be no steeple chase, the most exciting race. Please fix our track!

Please help rebuild our foundation for a better track.

I hate the current track it's so worn and ragged

It’s sad to hear this because I love running and knowing we can’t compete in our own home meets is super disappointing

We have to have O’Grady’s Track meet at DHS, it’s the best here.

We desperately need a new track! Our red lanes are falling apart and because of that we are not hosting the O’grady relays. :(

being a senior it sucks that most of my meets won’t be at home, especially O’Gradys and that’s something you want to cherish being that it’s my last year and I can’t even do that with our crappy track that we have! It’s dangerous

I’ve ran track for Danbury high school it’s a great program with a lot of great staff and great coaches and the students/ athletes need a new track.

I have been running on this track for years and the condition of it is getting worse as pieces are now chipping off the track, sometimes big chunks. It’s a big safety hazard and needs to be fixed
