Yes we looked forward to bringing some of our own alcohol on board for a drink on our veranda however my biggest concern is what else will they change before my cruise in May. They have already cut the pool hours to where we will not e able to swim after dinner. Will they begin charging more for drinks on board, charging for the kids club or the meet and greets? We are PIF already and most of the cost was done by gift cards. Will most likely be our last Disney cruise.

We have done disney cruises the last 2 years and were getting ready to book a 3rd but guess well look into the new royal caribbean ships.... we arent big drinkers but it certainly helps offset the major amount of money extra we pay to go on a Disney Cruise!

One of the deciding factors for us was that even though the price was steep, we would be able to save on our drinks by bringing on our own alcoholic beverages. To change this policy 3 days prior to our cruise is bait and switch!!! Very Disappointing in Disney, seems that profit and gouging is what dreams are made of at Disney. Not sure Walt would approve.

remove the policy or allow the people whom purchased cruises under the old law. Ruined our plans!

please don't become like all the other cruise lines..we pay a premium to cruise with u on purpose because we love the service..don't start taking things away

They allow us to bring our own alcohol to resort hotels so why not the cruise line?

Please add spirits. Limiting is fine, but not to exclude other types of alcohol.

One of the expenses I can forego which allows us to keep cruising is the unrestricted alcohol policy. DCL prices are higher than many other cruise lines and I believe this policy will do discourage new customers from booking .

You're removing a competitive advantage that the competition doesn't have; ask your strategy executives again if this is really the route that DCL should go.

DCL, please do not take away my rum. I ask that you allow 1 750 Mil bottle pp on cruises 4 or few nights and 2 PP on 5+. Thank you.

We just paid in full for our first ever cruise only a few days before this announcement. One of the reasons we swallowed the high price was that we would not have to spend so much on drinks since we. Could bring our own. We will not be cruising with Disney again. The lack of communication on the policy change leaves a bad first impression.

DCL, very unhappy with your new alcohol policy. We enjoyed a nightcap in verandah.We don't drink beer, wine, or champagne. You should allow 1 bottle of liquor. We are definately looking into other cruise lines.

Sad to hear about Disney's new alcohol policy. Loved that I was able to bring along my favorite aged Oregon Pinot Noirs on my last two cruises. Now I will be out of luck.

The alcohol policy was always one of the ways we justified the cost of a Disney cruise. I guess we will explore less expensive cruises since we will have a bar tab added to the bill.

This change makes Disney Cruise not worth the higher fares. Sorry, we enjoyed our first and last Disney Cruise. You just made the competition look so much better!

Disappointed in this policy change because it isn't fair to those already past PIF date. Also, with DCL pricing so high, the previous allowance was a cost-saving measure.
