Our veterans need our support and 72 hoirs is not enough time to transition anyone from their place of stay no matter how inappropriate bor what code violations are cited.

It's absolutely ludicrous for the government to "have to" interfere with every single attempt by the public to support our houseless Vets. It seems as if they just can't help themselves. These men and women have given everything for us and Camp Alpha is just a little bit of us giving back. Siting code violations etc...is just a way of the city trying to make a buck off the backs of these unfortunate heroes. Violations=fines=revenue. Enough already, I'm waiting to see the story "City donates much needed (fill in the blank) to Camp Alpha". Regretfully I think I'll be waiting a long time. Please tell your friends, families, co-workers etc. about this wonderful organization, and ask them to sign the petition. It's the least that we can do for they who did so much. For God and Country, 2Lt. Susan B ith, RN

Dont continue to mistrear our veterans because you are upset that the community is taking care of what the government has ignored.

I find it to be very disturbing that our Veterans are even homeless to begin with. They fight for our country to keep our freedom but have no value when they come back to the States. I find it to be unfair that the United States will help people from other countries and bring back refugees before helping our own people especially those who have risked their lives to keep us safe. This Camp needs to stay open for the sake of our Veterans. They ultimately deserve so much more and should never have to worry about where they lay their head down at night or when their next meal will be. I support this Camp and hope that more are created.
