I trust more CRNAs than Anesthesiologists to give my family anesthesia. CRNAs are the ones actually providing anesthesia on a daily basis.

Several studies exist which demonstrate that there is no difference in outcomes between anesthesia given by CRNAs and anesthesia given by anesthesiologists. If you want to increase costs then pass this measure. If you want to increase safety, focus on the parameters that have actually caused the problems.

Nurse Anesthesiologists provide most of the anesthesia in this country!

Research proves outcomes. CRNAs are not less safe than anesthesiologists. This is a shame and will only increase health care costs without any improvement in patient care.

Several landmark studies confirm that CRNAs achieve the same level of safety and quality as their physician counterparts. In fact, researchers consistently find anesthesia care is equally safe whether provided by a CRNA working alone, an anesthesiologist working alone or a CRNA working with an anesthesiologist.

Studies are shown to illustrate that the patient care standards are equally demonstrated regardless of CRNA or MDA Anestheaia provider.

This bill puts another artificial barrier to the exceptional nurse anesthesiologist/CRNA anesthesia care provided. This bill does nothing to increase safety in anesthesia, but does everything to increase healthcare costs. CRNAs are advanced practice anesthesiology providers who collaborate with the healthcare team independently provide a majority of the anesthetics each and every day throughout the United States. Please change this bill to reflect the expert anesthesia care provided by CRNAs.

CRNAs are able to function in an independent capacity as many studies have shown.

CRNA’s provide anesthesia on all locations where surgical procedures are performed. CRNA’s have a safety record of over 150 years providing high quality and affordable anesthesia care .

Nurse Anesthetist are safe and competent anesthesia providers. If you look up the history of anesthesia administration in the United States you will find that Nurses were the pioneers of anesthesia administration. Just check with the US armed forces and ask who primarily provides anesthetic services to US soildiers!

Restcriting CRNA’s, will only increase health care cost. These practitioners are more than capable and do work indecently in mulitipule states.

Majority of deaths were due to surgical complications not due to type of providership (CRNA vs MDA) please look at the data

Please consider changing the word "anesthesiologist" to "anesthesia provider" throughout the bill, thus including both MDAs and CRNAs.

CRNAs are equal providers of anesthesia. Legally held to same standards and provide anesthesia the same way.
