I am a proud Class of 1975 graduate. In my class and others, mnany great people in many professions have graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School. It would be a travesty to close its doors.

The neighborhoods that cover Coolidge are still growing. The school should remain open to serve the upper northwest/northeast communities.

Every High School in Ward 4 has been modernized, except Coolidge. Even Wilson High School. Next families are moving into Coolidge Community.

Coolidge'a modernization was pushed back several times every High school in Ward 4. With new DC resident arriving each year you will need this school'a modernisation to be completed. Please keep your promise.

There is historical value as well as future opportunities in this school. Has the Council considered offering vocational apprenticeships in their modernization program? If Coolidge SHS offers students training in a highly skilled vocation along with academic education, I think school enrollment would greatly increase as those students would be prepared to get a job soon after high school if they choose not to immediately enter a college program after graduation. Please do not close CCHS.
