Keep Coolidge open, we don't want to go the way of Chicago which closed over 50 schools. The next closest schools would be Roosevelt or Wilson both outside of our area. This neighborhood and their students deserve a modernized high school. And its been held up long enough. Class of 1974

Please do not close the doors to this High School. Check the history of the school, the academics programs and achievements from the alumni and the millennium. Area based and much needed. Why would they close the doors, take a poll of this district of this decision to remain open or close!!!!!1

Keeping Calvin Coolidge HS open and running is extremely important to our next generations. It was a honor attending and being a graduate of the 1975 class! #saveourschool

We the residents need this School to stay open and continue to serve the students. The history along is educational so let's take a stand and keep the doors open and continue to renew the spirit and conditions at Calvin Coolidge high school.

I graduated from Coolidge High School in 1959. I am one of four (perhaps five) Coolidge graduates who joined the US Foreign Service and went on to become Ambassadors. I doubt there are many other city highschools in the country that can claim this distinction. Good public schools are a necessity to the development of our city. Coolidge desrves to have te full suport of the DC Government. I am a DC resident (I never moved to the suburbs, I pay taxes and I vote).

family of potential student, alumni student. My family lives in that neighborhood and three generations attended Coolidge, and we have another generation coming who still lives in the neighborhood. I also have history in this school.

class of 1971. Calvin Coolidge has been a part of DC for decades. DC is changing and this school should be modernized to keep up with this. it has been a part of this for years. Coolidge has graduated very distinguished and successful individuals, please keep it open. Don't let's it's heritage end here.

C/o 1990 still lives close by. Keep it open. Modernize it like you did most of the other SHS
