My question is why. The closet SHC is Roosevelt to far to travel for kids that live up by Walter Reed.

Good morning, I graduated from this school in June 1975. My brother graduated in June 1976. I have watched this school go with renovation, etc., as they modernize and upgrade other schools. I remained in the neighborhood and I am going to stay in this location. This school is a landmark for the new generation that is coming to our area. Please don't close Coolidge.

Yes I'm for remodeling not closing. It's a fine school for our youth to attend in that part of the city.
