Game is too fast for Hughson. Can't keep-up with names during action, so resorts to editorializing on simple things like face-offs instead of play-by-play announcing. Simpson is just awful, and a KNOWN Leaf hater!

Banish Hughson and Simpson back to the West Coast and get someone on the HNIC broadcast who at least doesn't hate the Leafs. How about the Punjabi guys, now there's a crew who can add the excitement this young Leafs team needs.

If not Bowen then Bob Cole. If not either of them then anyone other then Hughson and Simpson. I watch the games with the volume off. Pretty soon I will pirate the games. It's embarrassing what rogers has done with the institution of hockey night in canada

I have watched the Leafs since the early 60's, and have never not wanted to watch even during the horrendous Ballard years, but I am at the point of. It watching when Hughson is the announcer, it is past annoying and frustrating to the point that it really is unbearable. BRING BACK BOWEN or I will not watch for my own sanity

We deserve better than Hughson and Simpson, they're horrible. Let them do the West coast teams they love so much. Joe is the best in the business, and loves the Leafs!

Hughson and Simpson are Hot Garbage. Their 'Leaf hate is palpable. Bowen has real passion for the Leafs. It's little wonder when HNIC is looking for good announcing for Leaf highlights in their opening clips they skip Sleepy Hughson and Mumbler Simpson and use the best Bowen.
