great idea. the west river residents act like they own the parkway and riverfront! THEY DON'T !!! Its owned by all residents of GI and NYS!!! Much wiser use of the waterfront.

With so many different perceptions of what is actually going to happen, where are the pictures/sketches??? I'm 100% for bike path but would like see what it's supposed to look like..

I grew up on Grand Island on Fix Road near the parkway. I now own my own home on Grand Island. I love the idea of a bike path connecting our two state parks. I have two children of my own and would love to be able to take them for long walks down by the river!

Island resident 30 yrs. took first slow roll up West River last week - amazing. Can't wait to see this to fruition so I can be a regular rider out there!!

I've lived on this Island almost 50 yrs and never understood the whole 2 roads thing. Only time we used it was to get to the overlooks or were learning to drive, because there never was any traffic on it.

How fantastic would it be to have a bike path spanning miles and miles, giving people a glimpse of our beautiful river? I don't live in West River, but if I did I would love this idea even more.
