Masks should be required. Having a healthcare worker in the house we are putting others in danger if we are not masked and our family member who is a health care worker by bringing Covid home from school.

As a physician mother w 2 unvaccinated under 12, this is necessary. No question.

All unvaccinated students and faculty should wear masks while inside to proctect themselves and each other!

We all needed to ensure safety comes first and masks are essential to avoid COVID spreading anywhere, especially at schools.

Students do not have a choice when it comes to public health, so until there is a vaccine for Covid, all students under 12 in public school should be required to mask.

As an Infectious Disease physician, I can attest that we are starting to see more COVID infections, primarily in unvaccinated. It is very important that everyone get vaccinated when they are eligible. However, our children cannot get vaccinated yet. Until then, everyone should be wearing masks.

Follow the guidelines for wearing a mask. We will never be sorry for being cautious.

As a physician I agree with keeping our kids and school staff masked till all ALL our kids are vaccine eligible.

Masks are necessary to keep our children safe until the under 12 yo population can be vaccinated. As a physician, I am already hearing from colleagues around the country and the world how dangerous the sets variant can be. We need to protect our community and continue masking

Some people with certain health conditions also cannot be vaccinated, so everyone masking also helps protect them from these emerging and increasingly transmissible variants.

Please listen to the science and protect our youngest children.

We are all in this together. Shouldn’t we be placing the benefit for ahead of a choice about wearing a mask? Believe in the science. Wearing a mask is such a simple task with such great benefit for everyone.

It's a shame this petition is even necessary!

Wearing a mask doesn’t cause death. Not wearing one does. Please follow the science and the facts and don’t wait for something to happen to one child to backtrack. My 5 year old can wear a mask without complaint and knows it’s for her own safety and for others.
