Riding on the narrow road just isn’t safe particularly with the new barriers on both sides

This is very necessary as it is too dangerous to be riding on the road from Paynesville to Eagle Point or vice versa

The bike route needs to be seperate from Paynesville Rd and it must not affect the speed of Paynesville Rd

Yep. Make it safer but without dropping the speed limit more. Surely it can't be that hard.

We are presently on a cycling holiday in South Australia. It would be so great to have some safe tracks between Paynesville and Bairnesdale

With new barrier installations and the ongoing poor quality of pville road, cycling is far less popular than ever. Local businesses are missing out because of the unsafe access. Cycling is booming and Paynesville should not be prevented from benefiting from the growing pastime because of unsafe cycling conditions

This would be a great idea to encourage more bicycle use between eagle point and bairnsdale. It would result in happier motorists and more happy and healthier residents and holiday makers that decide to ride instead. I currently commute between eagle point and bairnsdale at lease once or twice by bike and would happily do it more often if the road was safer and more bike friendly

Such a bike path would have lots of use, incl avoidance of car use. Current route alongside heavy traffic travelling at 100 kph is intimidating. Commuters in the city aren’t asked to do that!
