I worked for Castro Valley high school. I met Paul through coaching little league. I wish that I had worked for him. He is one of the nicest persons I have ever known.

Paul was a positive and very supportive parent in my classroom at Brooks Elementary School. I had the privilege of teaching two of his children and could not have asked for a better volunteer. He also served in other volunteer capacities on our campus and helped with special events. I was elated to hear about his position as principal at OR and have only heard great things from students, parents and staff since he began his tenure there.

Mr. Burke has taken the exceptional standing of ORHS and enhanced it even further in just 2 years! He has bridged parent and student groups, taking the time and interest to connect and encourage across the board in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. All of my interactions with Mr. Burke have been nothing but positive. He has always shown respect towards me and has been a complete professional while representing Oak Rudge High School. I would hope that if an investigation is taking place due to any type of allegation against Mr. Burke that those conducting the investigation would gather input from students, parents, Foundation Board Members, Booster Members, Site Council Members and various community members that he interacts with regularly. #BackBurke

Our son Logan graduated last year. He thought Mr Burke improved the school and especially social issues in his short time there. From a parent's perspective, Mr Burke never failed to greet us at school events and discuss Logan's progress and plans. He's thoroughly engaged in the school and improving students' time there. It would be a shame to step backward.
