So many students can relate to this letter. I will not go in depth, but Principal Paul Burke made a great amount of his personal efforts to help the students. The students were his priority and as busy of a person he is that man has put so much extra time into helping and getting to know the students at a personal level. I have never met such a caring and honorable individual thus far and find no reason in getting rid of him as our Oak Ridge High School Principal. He has impacted so many in such a positive way and it is beyond safe to say that he deserves his dream job. I hope you consider not just your decision in greater depth but decide under the greater importance for the students.

Dear Members of the Board of the El Dorado Union High School District,
My name is Madisyn Hallare and I am a recent graduate of Oak Ridge High School representing the class of 2015. It is with great dismay that I feel the need to write this letter under the circumstances regarding Principal Paul Burke. I am aware he is on a leave of absence for reasons not being disclosed. It would be a great injustice if Paul Burke did not remain Principal of Oak Ridge High School to not only him, but to the students and El Dorado Hills Community. For these reasons, I am writing this letter in full support of Paul Burke to remain Principal of Oak Ridge High School.
Principal Burke made it his mission to get to know the students of Oak Ridge High School on a personal level. During my time in high school, Principal Paul Burke was frequently in the quad or cafeteria, greeting students and participating in meaningful conversations with them. Paul Burke genuinely cares about acknowledging the presence of his students and learning about them as people and contributors of our world.
Upon my acceptance at my dream school, Paul Burke had a handwritten note delivered to me, congratulating me on my greatest accomplishment in my life thus far. Paul Burke is not only aware of what is happening within the lives of students; he also goes the extra mile to commend them for their salient accomplishments. He motivates students of Oak Ridge High School to continue their success beyond high school, and encourages their aspirations through such simple, yet thoughtful actions, such as the delivery of a card expressing his pride and commendation.
At the National Letter of Intent Signing Day, a very special day for all student-athletes bound to compete in intercollegiate-level athletics, Paul Burke was in attendance to, once again, support and recognize me and other student-athletes of Oak Ridge High School for such outstanding accomplishments. At this point in my high school career, I was so
