The Treasure Valley is hungry for a BSU baseball program. The valley produces some excellent baseball players that would be proud to represent Boise on the baseball diamond!

Baseball is a fan favorite pastime. Especially at the collegiate level. Where else can parents take their children and their friends that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to pay for. As a matter of fact, I’m headed to a game tonight. Looking forward to a hot dog and popcorn.

We don’t want to see talented in state kids go out of state to different education systems simply because we don’t offer this anymore. It’s time to bring it back.

Boise State would benefit from a baseball team because it would keep local athletes with the ability to stay in their hometown subway. We have a thriving and stressful high school athletic field.

It is disheartening as a coach in Idaho that we do not have institutions that allow our best players to stay home and compete at the highest level. Our top talent has to leave our home state for D1 opportunities and that is a shame.
