Why mention that parents think about money first? this kind of talk is ridiculous. It is perfectly legitimate for parents to request this reimbursement because the year's program did not go as planned. Think about everyone's place before you write this kind of talk

If i enjoyed being with my child, i shouldn't have asked for a refund?

The request for a refund is justified. There is no reason for any ridicule there. Is it your experience to think that parents are having trouble with their children? Or is it a novel? (I can't believe it's written by an adult)

Are parents who want a refund valued more money than their children? Stupid sound. If I have paid for my child and the rights to it have been violated, it is the natural right of the individual to speak out about the injustice. Is it a good parent to stay silent? Law said that those who do not claim rights are not worth the protection of the law. I don't want to be a stupid parent.

Lazy parents. Demanding salary cuts for teachers. You're upset that you have to make your kids lunches and spend time with them. Horrible people.

The parents on here seem to care more about money than their childrens' education. If you're upset about the e-learning provisions, you'd surely work with the school to improve it. Money first, children second. Sounds about right. Great parenting.

Your remark regarding " 21We are extremely disappointed at the disjointed way all of the online education is being organised." honestly seems like you aren't engaged and fully aware of the opportunities that this time has presented for students. If you are having such a terrible time with e-learning and the materials required are so bad you should take it up with your child's teachers not on a social site like this complaining. It wont get your problem anywhere. Everyone on here is complaining about e-learning rather than doing this there is a much more effective method of directly communicating with your child teachers to give them constructive criticism. I can assure you that the teachers are under stress and aren't entirely sure on what they should be doing either so constructive criticism would be well appreciated and this attitude and comments on a demoralising appeal like this is what makes life harder for people doing their best. If nothing is said directly to the teachers how are they supposed to know what they are doing wrong in the eyes of the parents. (in relation to the quality of education not tuition fees)

Do you not understand the strain and pressure this would put on all of the students and teachers??? Yes it is unfortunate that we have missed so much school and yes fees and refunds need to be revised however, this would be a terrible solution as the mental strain it would have on students especially in the upper years of secondary. This remark is extremely ignorant as you clearly do not realise the pressure teachers and students in secondary school are under. I'm a student my self and seeing the ignorance of so many parents is extremely worrying as to what this might mean for my own education and mental health. This mind set is the reason as to why so many students at our school go through mental health issues that are tough to recover from.

I'm sure the teachers will be delighted to read your morale boosting comment. Most are giving everything they have to provide an education for our children under the current circumstances. But "HB" calls those teachers' attempts inadequate. Good work.

BIS lack of e-learning and online-curriculum preparation. All the lessons plan were still F2F methodology; therefore, alot of parents have to step in to be the teacher at home. There is innovation to enhance the e-learning expereriences for the children. BIS should consider this is a cost to the parents in both time and money. Therefore minimally, BIS should give parents more than 50% reduction in Fees.

Do you realize that most is the support staff are not being paid full wages or some have even been furloughed or laid off?

Fees schools be refunded or reduced at least 30% for this year or as credit for the upcoming year. The online platform and learning curriculum of BIS has been woefully inadequate has been a disservice to the students and their families.
