What parents say about teachers I cannot comment on all of them because it is not the bottom of the subject (the parents are more or less annoyed by this event so in some ways I can understand them as well as it is a place for a petition)
By cons people like you (who is the only one) I can lose a few minutes to correct you.

So you blame the teachers? What an ignorant person you are. It's also the responsibility of parents to tell teachers that their child is not coping well, if that's the case, because they can see what's happening at home. Instead, you want to sit and watch it fail (in your opinion) so you can claim some money back. In my experience, the teachers are doing a great job - especially in secondary and I'm grateful to them for putting so much effort into making it work.

I think you do not understand the substance of this petition.
Parents are aware that school is doing its utmost to overcome this difficult time. But unfortunately this is not enough. This event made that some parents are obliged to keep their children but also to educate them from the activities prepared by the teachers. I don't know if you take care of your children for the activities or not but I can tell you that it is not easy. It comes down to saying that some parents cannot work and must become a "teacher" for their children (I am happy to do so), but that is not my specialty.
1 / Some parents are experiencing a drop in income and have to take care of their children and have mainly paid near 30 kUSD for the school
2 / The school is going through a difficult period but in terms of cash it is not the same impact compared to the parents.
The school suspended the canteen, probably reduced the activities of the establishment's staff, consumes less electricity, etc.
3 / the teachers (with all due respect) do superb work for e-learning but I can say that this is not enough for the children to be at the same level as it could have been at school.
Let's be logical, the teachers spend much less time preparing the activities than preparing a full day at school.
Summarizing the 3 assumptions, parents are legitimate to ask for this petition. (And in this discussion, it does not make sense to talk about the parents' behavior in favoring money before children)
It is up to the school to discuss with the teachers a possible drop in salary or not.
Parents do not in any way force the teachers' salaries to fall, it is up to the school to manage this.
I hope you have understood a little bit the position of the parents who are asking for this petition.

Finding a solution to my child's education comes first. Are teachers people who have to live with the help of parents? They should have found a solution. It was their duty, and since they had not done it, we were asking them for responsibility. If you don't want it , don't get your tuition refunded!
