Resident at 2328 Portside Way in Ashley Harbor. Very much opposed to the proposed development, that is inconsistent with surrounding neighborhoods. Some Ashley Harbor residents will be faced with back alley views of the proposed development, as will be the view from the several access roads fronting on Ashley Hall Plantation Road.

It is heartbreaking to think this beautiful avenue of oaks will be so heavily traveled. We live around the corner on Ashley Hall Rd and put up with the present swell of cut threw traffic early am and afternoon as they "rock and roll" over our speed bumps. This is a busy shortcut for cars en route from Sam Rittenberg through to Hwy 61 on to Paul Cantrell. It is already very tricky to bike, run, or walk during these peak times. A community park without parking will problematic for nearby residents. Please do not take this neighborhood gem from us.

Everyday the traffic on Ashley Hall Road is horrendous with drivers cutting through our neighborhoods on the way home. So now, we have a developer that wants to put Cluster homes in this same area which will probably add an additional 150 or more automobiles for our children to watch out for.
The traffic already backs up waiting for light changes and with all of these additional automobiles in the mix let's pray the fire trucks can get out of the neighborhood in the event of an emergency.

* The cluster development is not in keeping with the existing density of Ashley Hall Plantation.
* Any development of the Seignous property should be limited to using the existing entrance at the end of Captiva Row
* The roads should be black topped and not gravel as proposed. The gravel roads will create dust and will need frequent regrading especially after a heavy rain.
*The proposed park is not a good idea - especially since there is no allowance for of street parking for visitors.

Once something is developed, it can never be replaced. In addition to the many reasons that have alreaday been offered of why this is not a good idea, several of the wildlife that still exists in this area will be displaced. I have often seen a family of foxes near the entrance to the plantation home as well several birds of prey including owls, red-tail hawk and osprey.

I am EXTREMELY concerned with this housing development! We already have horrible traffic in our neighborhood from people cutting through Ashley Hall Plantation Road and through Ashley Hall Plantation. Building 50 plus homes is going to bring chaos to our neighborhood with increased traffic. IT IS all about the money and what this group is going to make, but please not in our area. It just is not fair to those of us that take pride in our neighborhood. Thank you.

Please consider traffic patterns not as they currently are but as they'll be once an additional 160 cars infiltrate this confined area.
