It's about greed. Find another area for the cluster homes. One that doesn't have so much historic significance!

It would be a tragedy and a shame to develop such a historically rich site- that is basically the foundation for the area we all now call home!

Save this historical area of West Ashley. I have lived in this neighborhood for 20 years. The area is already a cut through when 61 traffic is bad. The extra traffic load from this development will impact safety and quality of life of current residents.

Please save Ashley Hall Plantation! I've lived in Apts @ end of Ashley Hall Plantation Rd for 22+ yrs. I'd really enjoy a park area. Perhaps in honor of Fire Dept Engine #16 which unfortunately lost 6 of the 9 heroes in Sofa Superstore Fire. Or just dedicated to people living in/near this area. I'm tired of seeing flocks of Geese & Heron searching 4 food & homes since development has stolen theirs!

Don't ruin history. These landmarks are not irreplaceable.

I'm sick of watching beautiful historic land used to develop housing, while most our inner cities have been laid to rest as wastelands and greed has taken over housing prices once again.

It is a far better location for a park than the old Piggly Wiggly site.

I would not like to see this area destroyed for a Housing Development and I'm actually an office manager for a residential home builder here in Fayetteville North Carolina.

We just voted to raise our sales tax to fund greenbelt purchases (with over $200 million devoted). This is the perfect piece of land to purchase with that money. I can't believe the city is saying there is no money to purchase this land.
