I feel strongly that development should be restricted close to the coast here . It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and that why people like the are so much . This plan will erode that natural beauty.who wants to sit in a caravan site while at the beach .
We really need to start protecting our natural assets.

As a frequent visitor to the area I am horrified at the plan to put unsightly development on what is unspoilt land. We only come as it is wild and beautiful, and relatively unspoiled. This would be the tipping point to make it unattractive. This plot is integral to walking, and can be seen from many paths.

This will ruin our much loved country side further polluting the scenery and the environment. Climate change is bad enough we should be stopping it not increasing it which is what they are doing right now!

You can’t have one company taking over the village fields with their business. How is that fair on locals trying to make a living with their small businesses. We care about Croyde does Ruda ? Or is it just about money.

I dispute this as a local resident . Ruda should not have permission to do this. Not only is it an eyesore in a beautiful location but they do nit encourage visitors or others to dispose of their litter as it stands . Leaving crap everywhere which threatens local wildlife , single use plastics etc ..some people don’t respect the surrounding countryside or beach and locals are fed up clearing up. Having this additional site will just add to the mess, noise , and influx of visitors who care settle only about enjoyment at the expense of the local community who are united and against this. Greed is the only incentive for this proposal ..that I can see it adds little benefit to the local area because visitors tend to spend their money at ruda nit in the village ..extra sewage and water demands can’t cope now so how is adding more people going to help . I don’t Thule the impact . I’ve lived here 6.5 years and we really don’t need this at all

If it becomes too much of a traffic jam, tourists will get fed up and avoid the area which means they will not make the profit ending up with masses of extra building ruining the village and the area which is what people go for in the first place! Use common sense!

Absolutely against any large scale development in or around Croyde

It’s a disgrace that this is even being considered. Croyde reached maximum capacity years ago, there just isn’t the infrastructure to deal with the amount of people that this ridiculous campsite brings to our poor village.

Ruda caravans are currently discreet please do not allow this as it will affect the approach to Croyde Bay and spoil residents and holidaymakers enjoyment. It also opens the floodgates to more development in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
