My parents live in Croyde and I used to. Ruda has expanded and done so with a fair respect and empathy for it's surroundings so far. But enough is enough. It is large enough and needs no more expansion plans.

Think of the next generation and their green open spaces. In my opinion Croyde has already over developed since I was a kid in the area. Who working locally can truly afford the new local housing built for local families, who wants caravans on green grass. We already have 1 eyesore coming into Croyde let’s not spoil the view from Down end even more for the sake of short term ‘brown enveloped’ cash which we know planners get.

As a keen walker areas of natural beauty are very important to me. Over the last 20 years in croyde I have seen a few green areas turned into building site and campsites please stop before there’s very few views to admire!

There is no provision for the extra traffic that this would bring to the area. Air pollution at Braunton traffic lights already exceeds EU levels, the current road infrastructure is not sufficient to support the development.

I think we need to Keep green land, green land. The park owners are not local and are only in it for the profit. It will open. A president for more building...

Croyde is saturated we do not need any more holiday accommodation. The village cannot good with it

Croyde doesn't need anymore green fields being built on or used for more caravans. Braunton and Croyde traffic is gridlock all through the summer holidays.

Absolutely ridiculous
Croyde is bursting st the seams as it is in the summer. Sewage system can't cope.
Village being wrecked roads can't cope.
Common sense would tell you this is insanity. Why can't these big chains be happy with what they've got and help towards the local community rather bleed everything dry

RUDA do not have the planning permission they claim they have. The onus is on them to prove it and they have produced no convincing evidence to support their claim.

The field in question is and has been a green field in the agricultural landscape of the beautiful North Devon AONB for as long as I have known and/or lived in the area which is since the 1980's. There has never been any camping or caravans on it that I have seen and the field is visible for many scenic walk routes around the village. The attempt by RUDA to dress up a planning application and permission decision that was purely for the purpose of extending the opening times of certain areas of the holiday park eg the existing lodges and caravans and club house and then after the event claim that the permission granted allowed the whole of the land referred to in that application to be used for holiday park accommodation is a far fetched and shameful interpretation and I hope that the Inspector sees this application for what it really is. It is heart warming to see that there are so many people who love this beautiful area and are prepared to do something about it.
