Appeal Against Ruda Plan on Green Field Site in AONB

Greed. Be grateful for the huge site you have Ruda.

Keep our green spaces green!

This will ruin the countryside, and put added pressure on roads and environment that already cant cope with the amount of tourism and people that go there already!

The application, if granted, will result in the loss of a valued green space. The persistent attempts to expand the campsite, using legal loopholes, against the previous advice and decisions of the planning authority, and the emerging neighbourhood plan, shows a cynical disregard for the policies to protect this beautiful bay. It is the beauty of the area which draws visitors. Beware destroying that environment by creeping development. Croyde beach has lost its status as excellent this year, downgraded to good. Ruda is responsible for the beach standards. Can our infrastructure cope with more expansion?

Please keep Croyde small and perfectly formed. This would be a grotesque expansion of a beautiful village.

Based purely upon the traffic conditions at the height of summer surely allowing even more dense holiday traffic infringes the human rights of the inhabitants of Croyde to enjoy peaceful, unencumbered use of their homes especially those living adjacent to the road.

Please do not allow this to happen

The park is big enough, no need to see more static caravans spoiling the natural beauty of the village. Not to mention the additional strain on existing infrastructure and the environmental impact!

I want to visit the area to take in its beauty. Not to look at rows of caravans. Some places are beyond saving this one isn’t so stop trying to make as much money as possible from it or they’ll be nothing left for our future generations to enjoy.

Croyde is too small for even more high density camping in the summer. The roads and other infrastructure just can’t take more than they already do... we can’t continue to loose more AONB which I would also point out will ruin Ruda. This is sheer greed and a lack of care for the local area and community by a company that should know better

It’s time to make environmental considerations the priority. This increase in the site would not only destroy a greenfield site, but would increase traffic etc.

This holiday park is big enough, only a narrow road to get to it, through a residential area. Croyde is a small village and already struggles with too many holiday visitors. This must not be approved.

Apart from anything else, the roads just aren't up to dealing with the traffic now let alone with more development. This should stay as a green field.

I’m against the over-development of this area of natural beauty.
