Alexander Walsh launched a coup on the most-populous Trent University facebook group, one with more than five thousand members, banning the other admins and installing libertarian activists with no association with Trent University at all in their place. The group was then spammed with Transphobic posts that, while I'd hesitate to call them hatespeech, were definitely intended to offend users. All dissenters were banned. These actions are unacceptable and I thought that the Trent student population should have a platform to share their outrage with the University.
