Think about the welfare of residents first before you sign off on further development! I will re-paste a comment here that says it best: Allowing developers to build in floodplains that then causes existing homes and businesses to flood is insanity. The Parish should set boundaries - the developers won't.

I vote in St Tammany Parish. The destructive and immoral practices of our government have got to stop. Allowing developers to build in floodplains that then causes existing homes and businesses to flood is insanity. The Parish should set boundaries - the developers won't.

The high taxes are unacceptable, especially the ones we didn't vote on or the ones we vote no on and keep getting added to the ballot.

To allow construction on property that has been proven to flood repeatedly is putting families & property in danger!! The choice of St Tammany Parish council & government to "look the other way" has put citizens lives at risk & IT HAS TO STOP! Construction codes need to be w construction needs to better fit the surrounding community and not be used to fill a void in the pocketbook of the Parish. The neglect & disregard of the parish council, government & elected officials for the current citizens of this parish is HORRID!!
Never had flooding or draining problems in my Goodbee area until a few years ago...now every rain we fret. Something has changed !!! GPB

Life time resident. WE are fast becoming a HUD parish. Too many apartment buildings going up all over Ward 1 and 3. Our parish is no longer a clean and healthy atmosphere. Shame on our elected officials.

I've lived in this parish for nearly 36 years. It's gone straight to the crapper thanks to corrupt and greedy politicians. If I had the means to move, I'd have left this parish (and this state) looong ago. We need REAL CHANGE. Now.
