This is certainly an eyesore and the local overly crowded space will become even more dense with huge traffic issues as well as blocking natural sunlight to a number of adjacent buildings

This is NOT in keeping with the area- and will BLOCK all the light to nearby properties. Please stop this before it's too late....

Too massive and not in keeping with the locality.
Will put too much pressure on local infrastructure. And will lead to huge pressures from vehicular traffic where the local roads are not able to withstand the increased traffic volumes.
The loss of local amenity afforded by the potentially huge towers will create local intolerance and will disadvantage local residents and it may also have a significant effect on local property prices in reducing desirability of proprieties that are overlooked by these huge towers and therefore reduced values for those affected

Enough is enough. Such schemes are motivated by making a quick buck for the Developer who then moves on and is not subjected to the inevitable fallout that such a plight inflicts upon local residence who have to cope with adverse consequences crested by such a Development .

Having recently moved to the area, I believe this development to be both excessive and ill-conceived.

Horrified by the scale of the proposed project. No one objects to something of similar proportions replacing the home base store.

I agree with all the points raised in the petition, there is already too much development in the area and it seems to be out of control now

As a recent buyer of a flat 100 metres away, I strongly object to a development that will completely destroy the existing unique character of Plantation Wharf, one of the most sensitive and imaginative riverside developments, as well as York Road. As the petition says, this plan is excessive in every respect, and in particular in terms of height and population density.

Building is far to high. The idea for a building is ok but nowhere near this height and ergo ... density

I completely agree with all the comments of Louise Smith. This development should not go ahead.

I strongly agree with all of the points made here in opposition of this development. The council themselves have previously deemed this site to be inappropriate for a development of this size. Fundamentally it is completely out of keeping with its surrounding area there are simply not the resources to cope with the development. It cannot go ahead!
