Resurface the A684 sooner rather than later!

Please re-surface this section of the A684 - it is too dangerous!

get something done before someone gets killed,..

I have previously signed this petition as an urgency, following to that i comuted to sedbergh today, on my return to kendal had a accident on that stretch of road, and spun my car ending up on the wrong side of the road and up the dyke, when the police arrived trying to keep the traffic moving there was another accident 20 mins after mine on the same place which resulted in the van going through the wall ending up on its side causing chaos with traffic, what is it going to take to get this road resurfaced a fatality which apparently has already happened involving a motorcyclist.

Had an accident 3rd Oct 2013. Spent 1 week in hospital with fractured spine. Still having physio. Are the highways waiting for a fatality before any action is taken

This section of road is treacherous, putting up 20mph signs is such a cop out by ccc highways. Will this ease their conscience when their is a fatality? I travel 30000 miles a year, mainly in cumbria and this is the only place I feel my vehicle lose grip!

I travel alomg this stretch of road twice a day and have seen so many accidents. Please do something before anything major happens.

Even going at 20mph I had to brake,very gently, as a huge waggon came over the top of Black Horse and the back end of my car 'waggled'

There is something wrong with the road surface!!!!!

Well I was very shocked as I have new Bridgestone tyres on which I bought as they were safest tyres on market as I do a lot of miles, my car slipped right across the road at the corner after the 20 heading into sedburgh my car is a golf gti and handles very well I was so shocked at such a slow speed it just lost control. I took it to garage as I was concerned about the performance of car and nothing wrong so I think something must be wrong

My car spun around & ended up reversing up the embankment on the first corner after the Killington turn off coming back to Sedbergh. The road was wet & I was doing 30mph - it was just before they put the 20mph sign up. I'm a fairly experienced driver, but I fear someone younger may end up seriously injured or worse.

The roads around here are horrendous

Seen so many cars off the road. Something is very wrong up there

this road surface really needs replacing, people i no and one family member have had an accident on that road and i am so glad they were safe but soon enough someone wont be as lucky
