Absolutely. Having a pool in the school is helped me as a teenager and swimming is now providing me with companionship and exercise as I wrestle with old age!

A pool in Arlington is much needed and would be really a wonderful addition to our community. As things stand now we are going all the way to Burlington on the weekends for lessons for our six-year-old daughter. It would be so much better to stay local and swim among members of our own community.

ABGC pool is not nearly enough to meet the demand for lessons, swim teams, etc. There is always a waiting list to get into classes there and the spaces fill up as soon as registration opens up.

I think another swimming option would be great. No offense to the ABGC their pool seems like they could benefit from an update not sure if they have ever had anything other than maintenance. I may be wrong but I've been going there since the late 70sas a child and it feels the same to me

It's hard to believe that we don't have an all-age pool for arlingtonians yet. It's such an inconvenience to travel to other towns for swimming.

Arlington having another pool would help to ensure that everyone knows how to swim. Every child should be safe around the water.

We DO need another pool. The schools use the Boys and Girls, but we need another facility to serve Arlington!

I will go a step further and say that Arlington should have both an indoor and an outdoor pool! But at the least an indoor pool should be a part of any high school rebuild.

The ABGC Swim Team is awesome -- but has to turn away (x number) of children every year because there is such high demand but only 5 lanes. An AHS swim team with its own pool would thrive.
