Let's build a pool in Arlington

We've been on a wait list for a Lex pool for three years and it's almost too late for our kids aged 11,9,7. Every kid should be able to learn to swim st a reasonable price in a facility that isn't overwhelmingly overcrowded. At least that's the goal!

I am a resident and homeowner in Arlington with a child about to enter the school system. I support the construction of a pool at Arlington high school.

I would certainly use such a pool and would be willing to pay an annual fee for a membership.

It's great that there are committed residents thinking ahead on behalf of the Arlington community! I totally support including an acquatics center as part of the AHS feasibility study!

Would like pool to include use by physically handicapped people.

I am a senior who uses AB&GC pool regularly. True, it is always very crowded! I believe that all humans should learn to read, write, and swim. It's important to survival. A pool at AHS would be a great asset for the town.

We are a such a great town, and we really need a pool! Lexington and Belmont have them, feels like we should too. It's too expensive to go swim at Belmont. It feels worth it to build a pool for Arlington.

Please consider a salt water system, instead of chlorine, so those of with an asthmatic reaction in chlorinated pools could use the pool, too!
