I wholeheartedly support having a town-owned pool here in Arlington. Sorely needed.

It would be great to have a pool at AHS where I could go with family regularly.

I put new community pool on my wish list for the Lahey property...here's hoping this second request gets a better reception!

A pool open to the community would be fabulous provided the fee is reasonable and affordable. The pool in Belmont is exstremely expensive especially if not a Belmont resident. I personally would love it

I would love to swim but find the Boys and Girls club too crowded almost all the time. YES to another pool!

I have heard from so many residents something like "Arlington's a great town to live in, but it doesn't have good enough swimming facilities." As a family, we currently make the trip to the Woburn YMCA.

My 10-year-old is an avid, advanced swimmer but the ABGC is often too crowded for her to do laps. Having a community pool would give many budding swimmers in the town and in surrounding towns the opportunity to fulfill their swimming potential.

I've been swimming almost everyday for about 40 years (out of my 57 years). It's definitely the best form of exercise which one can continue well into the frailty accompanying old age. I think this would be an excellent thing for Arlington residents to have. (Boys&Girls Club pool is a good resource, but just not up to snuff given smallness, and limited hours for public). Plus, a pool would be a great help to develop young people in town who really want to become serious swimmers.

We have a pool - at boys and girls club. Energy should be put into making better hours (and keeping conditions good) at our existing pool.

A pool at the high school is a great idea. The athletes would benefit from a pool at the school instead of traveling back-and-forth to the Boys and Girls Club.

Another pool feels would be great! I can never get my children into swim classes at Boys and Girls club, they are always full

A nice aquatics center would be great for the high school and Arlington.

Yes, an attractive outdoor community pool would be nice for summer or indoor that could offer lessons! Boys and girls has a waitlist for private and semiprivate.
