CB3: Stop Runaway Nightlife at 9 Orchard Hotel

restaurants at 9 Orchard need to close 12am/1am in line with restaurants in the neighborhood. Bars need to close at 2am similar to like bars in the neighborhood. Any bar that close later down here has a smaller capacity then 9 Orchard. CB3 needs to listen and be fair to the residents of the neighborhood. This is only the beginning.

This area of LES is known for its charm and slower pace. Its a haven in the midst of this loud city and doesn't need to be disrupted by bars, loud music and loud people. This is a neighborhood not the Vegas Strip!

An establishment of this capacity is not reflective of our community and will ultimately lead to it's demise; the character that makes it so charming and sought after by tourists and residents alike will be diminished.

this would totally kill the charm and character of one of the last great neighborhoods in manhattan. the late night attraction is not in support of the residents who have committed to living and preserving the character of this community.

In light of the towers and Essex Street Crossing, the claim that the hotel needs to be competitive by opening these public venues is false. The area is now and will be so densely populated that there will not be enough hotel rooms to meet demand. This is a ruse to open as many bars as possible under the guise of a hotel. The spaces could easily be used as more guest rooms if the owners were genuine hotel proprietors. Cynical move to cash in on current trends.

The neighborhood is already out of control. The "East Village" effect has slowly come down to L.E.S. We really don't need more teenagers screaming uncontrollably because they don't know where to spend their parents' money!

Let keep LES as a real community neighborhood.

We don’t need this in our neighborhood!

We don't need anymore hotels bringing more transients into this neighborhood. Every new hotel/bar/restaurant/etc. wants a 4am closing time despite the fact that residents are living in close proximity. These businesses need to respect residents more instead of capitalizing off them.

The LES neighborhood does not need an additional influx of young & entitled drunkards that the bars/lounges & event spaces in the Jarmulowsky Bldg will inevitably attract.

Way too loud already in the neighborhood. Our infrastructure is not set up for more people, noise, cars or trash. Please make it stop. Earlier closing hours will support keeping this family neighborhood safe and special.

I do NOT want the bars in this new hotel to be open past 2am, or to have special events with lines. I do not want more drunken idiots running around in my neighborhood.

I've lived up the block from the bank for 25 years, and the neighborhood is already becoming way too congested with all the buses, new businesses, Chinese trading companies, etc. Something has to give and throwing a giant hotel into the midst of all this chaos is just asking for trouble.

We have enough drunk white kids pissing, puking and defecating in the local streets as it is.

I’ve lived and spent time in the neighborhood for years. It has been changing a lot but the people who have changed it have been small businesses. Jarmulovski project would be nice had it been office space. A party destination no thanks.
